Job description:

For the expansion of the CargoFlexX team we are looking for a project engineer.

Do you have a completed MTS or HTS program and do you have a good command of the English language? Read on!

The CargoFlexX Group is a strong customer-oriented and service organization that offers total solutions for the storage and transport of dry and difficult to pump substances to different industries such as (Marine & Offshore, Oil & Gas and Ports & Terminals). The Project engineer takes care of the following activities:

  • For a contract-compliant delivery of all orders and the monitoring thereof;
  • Providing technical support, internally, to the service and sales departments;
  • Provide Provide technical support to the account manager during the sales process;
  • Answering all technical questions by customers;
  • Creative thinking along in order to achieve a process improvement;
  • Contribute to achieving a pleasant cooperation climate within the organization;
  • Carrying out other activities not directly related, commissioned by the Manager Sales / Management;
  • Attending and giving input in the periodic departmental meetings;
  • Attend and provide input for the product information sessions;
  • Keeping track of technical developments by means of professional literature.

Job requirements:

For this job we are looking for an efficient personality that considers service to be of paramount importance. In addition to being a pro-active person with work experience, a confident and decisive school leaver can also fulfill this function. You have excellent communication skills. Mastery of the English language in word and writing is a requirement.

  • Completed MTS or HTS training;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Experience with Autodesk drawing programs (AutoCAD and Inventor or similar);
  • Both a team player and self-managing;
  • Innovative and accurate;
  • No objection to travel (at home and abroad);
  • Full-time available and in possession of driving license B;
  • No 9 - 5 mentality.

Working conditions

Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities:
Serves customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.

Sales Engineer Job Duties:

  • Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements. Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
  • Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
  • Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff; costing engineering changes.
  • Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; advising customer on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements; advising customer on needed actions.
  • Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
